The matrix is produced of bovine bone. During a multi-stage controlled cleaning process, native xenogeneic bone tissue is purified from proteins and other components that could cause adverse immunological and inflammatory reactions when implemented into the patient organism. Specific treatment increases the material’s regenerative effect.
The used xenogenic bone material possesses the required quality certificates from the manufacturer and it also undergoes additional veterinary and sanitary control. Raw material sampling is performed in compliance with the international standard ISO 22442, "Medical devices utilizing animal tissues and their derivatives". By avoiding the use of allografts, the transmission of any infections and diseases is minimized. Our unique purification technology ensures a bacteria- and virus-free final product, which actively promotes rapid bone formation. This accelerated regeneration of strong, native bone prevents the common complication where an imbalance between graft resorption and new bone formation leads to the filling of voids with soft fibrous tissue instead of bone. Furthermore, the technology removes all immunogenic components from the bone material while preserving the native tissue's biological and mechanical integrity.
